I’m working on my new blog (the one that belongs to the real-life persona behind Indy Clause). I was halfway into my second post when I realize that I am plagiarizing myself. I’m cracking a joke that originated on this blog.
In science, you refer to your previous work all of the time. As shown in Clause (2014), writing is hard. College students and published authors get busted for repurposing old work because professors and publishers expect new and original work unless otherwise noted.
But in the Wild West of blogging, it doesn’t matter. Huzzah!
What are your highly insignificant moral dilemmas this week?
